About Us

My name is Ana, and I’ve been a Type 1 diabetic since 1996. Living with diabetes has been a journey full of ups and downs, but it has also made me a stronger, more resilient person.

Over the years, I’ve worn an insulin pump and a CGM device to manage my diabetes. While these devices have made my life easier in many ways, they’ve also presented unique challenges. For example, finding the right clothing to accommodate my pump and CGM device hasn’t always been easy, and I’ve often felt self-conscious about wearing them in public.

Another challenge I had to face was when my daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes as well. It was a shock for our entire family, but when we learned to accept our new way of life, I was even more determined I wanted her life to be as normal as possible.

All of a sudden, our daughter had to carry her phone with her all the time, as well as the CGM on her arm. We searched for pretty bags for her to wear and also ways to keep her CGM on her arm securely attached and looking pretty. That’s when we started looking into creating our own solutions, accessories and patches, adding a touch of style and personality to our diabetes management routine.
