The T1D Superhero Puzzle was created for children living with type 1 diabetes.

We created this puzzle because we wanted children with T1D to feel seen. Behind the everyday moments of childhood, they manage things most other children never have to think about. And that takes courage and strength. Our Superhero Girl and Superhero Boy are here to remind them that diabetes does not make them any less capable of living fully and pursuing their dreams.

Choose between two designs: Superhero Girl or Superhero Boy.

A thoughtful birthday or Christmas gift, an encouraging present after diagnosis, or simply a reminder to a child with T1D that they’ve got this.

Made in Slovenia

This puzzle is proudly made in Slovenia by Slovenian company Puzly Puzli committed to creating sustainable, high-quality local products as an alternative to cheap, environmentally harmful imported goods.

The puzzles are made in Slovenia using local materials and are finished by hand. The producer works with local artists, organisations and manufacturers who share the same commitment to supporting the local community and protecting the environment.

For us, choosing local production was an important part of creating this puzzle. We wanted a product with a story behind it – made with care, close to home, and in a way that supports people and businesses in our local community.

The Superhero Girl and Superhero Boy illustrations were created especially for this project by Slovenian illustrator Anja Petrarca.

Both are original hand-drawn digital illustrations. No generative AI was used to create the illustrations.
